The Graduate College
requires a minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or a GPA of 3.00
in the last two years of undergraduate work. Students who do not meet
this requirement may be admitted on a provisional basis at the discretion
of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Graduate
College. In addition to the general requirements for admission to the
Graduate College, an applicant for the M.S.E. program must have a bachelor's
degree in engineering or a closely related discipline. Students with
non-engineering backgrounds may be required to complete a set of undergraduate
courses that will assure successful completion of the graduate degree.
